What should YOU be doing?
New Zealand. Vancouver. Toronto. Philadelphia. In the past couple of months people have called me from all those places saying, "Dave, I want in." They've heard that Calgary real estate is HOT and they want to be part of it.

HOT is an understatement. Just an example: normally Calgary has about 4,500 properties on the market at any time. Right now we're lucky to have 1,000 properties for sale.

If you want to sell your place, there's never been a better time. Many properties are seeing "bidding wars," and most are sold within days. (However, you still need to do your spring cleaning and touch ups!).

If you want to buy, be prepared to pay more than you expected, and have financing pre-approved. But don't let that put you off. How many people do you know who say, "I wish I'd bought Vancouver or Toronto real estate 5 years ago"? There are no guarantees, but all indications are that Calgary real estate is headed upward. Chances are good that the earlier you get in, the more value you could gain.
